Listen Technologies to Distribute DIS Conferencing Solutions in Canada

 


Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) has January 1st 2009 granted Listen Technologies Corporation exclusive distributorship of DIS conferencing solutions in Canada. Distribution will begin January 1, 2009 and includes DIS’ digital conferencing, discussion, and digital IR products.
In January 2008, Listen began distributing DIS’ conferencing products in the United States, maintaining its role as a leader in delivering conferencing solutions to the American market. The conferencing systems will round out Listen’s FM and Infrared portfolio in Canada.
“We are honored to represent DIS conferencing solutions in the United States and Canada, Listen President Russell Gentner said. “Conferencing products offer a better way to conduct meetings and training sessions because it makes these interactions more efficient and productive. The conferencing microphone unit is a sound system that can be used for small, portable PTA meetings up to a permanent conference facility for hundreds of participants. Listen offers a system that will enhance any meeting.”

Listen Technologies Corporation has appointed Patrick Herlihy as Regional Sales Manager for Canada. In his new position, Herlihy will be in charge of managing the company’s Canadian independent representatives and dealers in the sales channel. Patrick Herlihy joins Listen Technologies Corporation with more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the field of audio visual and conference systems, specializing in simultaneous interpretation system design. He took on the role of Director of System Sales at Conference Systems, Inc. in 1993, and managed the importation and distribution of Danish Interpretation Systems and Brähler ICS products in the USA.
