The facade of the DR Concert house, which will be inaugurated in January 2009, will be lightened up by video projectors and gobo-lights – all supplied by Informationsteknik.
In a close cooperation with the Danish lighting company Martin and Panasonic, Informationsteknik has secured the job. A job that also will include projections inside the new public lobby.
”In our solution we have emphasized quality, operation stability, and a homogeneous high output with regards to colour, lighting and image quality at present and for the coming years’ performance” says Håkan Hansson, VD Informationsteknik Malmö. ”Knowledge we have gained from experiences with similar artistic projects such as the impressive lighting and laser show in the Tivoli lake and the large projections at Danfoss Universe”.
"Our project together with Atelier Jean Nouvel and The Danish Radio is a break through within indoor and outdoor Architectural Lightning in the Nordic Area. From our knowledge it is the first time that projector technology from Martin and Panasonic is used in this magnitude to create images and expressions on a building – It is a truly not a “prêt á porter” project.
We are delighted that Informationsteknik has been chosen as the system integrator for this challenging installation, and our project team is exited and looking forward to stretch their competences and capabilities in order to realize the project".
The facade-lighting at the DR Concert house will be shown in public from January 17. 2009.
