Policy regarding the work environment at Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S |

Through its work environment initiative Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S intends to create an attractive work environment for both new and existing members of staff, at the same time ensuring a culture of co-operation based on equality of management and workers. In addition to this we aim to promote and develop positive elements, such as job satisfaction, motivation, commitment and a sense of responsibility, together with personal and professional development.
Our goal is to create a healthy workplace for our employees, one that is both physically and mentally stimulating, a workplace where sick leave, industrial accidents and work-related illnesses can be largely avoided.
Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S observes current regulations regarding environ-mental legislation and continually evaluates work environment initiatives with a view to initiating improvements. All levels of management have specific responsibilities within the work environment, however a good work environment cannot be created without co-operation and joint responsibility from the staff.
Great importance is especially attached to preventative work environment initiatives. Informationsteknik Scandinavia A/S sets aside the necessary resources to ensure both management and staff work closely together on this. No member of staff is allowed to be exposed to unnecessary physical or mental stress.
The work environment is automatically incorporated into daily planning and scheduling. Every single employee’s workplace will be evaluated at frequent intervals – both with regard to its set-up and the technical aids which are made available. This evaluation helps to form a basis for possible initiatives.
If an accident occurs in the workplace, it will be analysed in order to prevent any similar accidents occurring in the future. Health and safety awareness in the workplace is co-ordinated and planned by management and the safety representative at Informationsteknik Scandinavia. However, all members of staff have the opportunity to express their own views, thereby exercising their own influence on the objectives and organisation at their workplace. |
