| DANSKE BANK |
|
|
Denmark’s most elegant and advanced conference venue |

The use of the auditorium and foyer is to provide the framework for conference activities and events of widely varying scale and type. The essential requirements that the AV installations must meet are therefore a high degree of flexibility and future adaptability. In addition, all the systems and installations must be based on equipment of a very high quality to ensure that a very high vision and sound quality are achieved in combination with a simple user interface.
The above provided the basis for the design and development of the AV solution Informationsteknik has supplied for Danske Bank’s new conference and press room. This room has been dubbed the Dome Room because of a glass mosaic dome which, forming part of the ceiling, helps create a very special atmosphere.
he picture on the 8 metre wide screen is generated by 3 10,000 ANSI lumen projectors from Digital Projection. The projectors are built into the rear wall in noise-damping cavities with thermostatically controlled cooling.
The users may freely design the picture surface with all the available data and video sources using a graphics system from Folsom. |

Spots have been installed to cover the rostrum and panel desks. The light is used, among other things, for TV broadcasts/press conferences. This means that the TV teams do not have to bring their own lighting to Danske Bank for their broadcasts.
All the lights (48 assemblies) are DMX-controlled, which means that all the lighting can be controlled from one light desk. 2 fixed cameras generate pictures of the speaker, and these pictures can be displayed on a screen or recorded in analogue and digital video formats.
DIS conference microphones are installed in the rows of seats, enabling journalists and other participants to put questions to the speaker and the individual panellists.
A Surround sound system, with amplifiers and speakers from d&b, has been installed to reproduce programme sound. All the functions are operated via an AMX-Netlinx system, fo which Informationsteknik – together with Danske Bank – has designed a user interface. This graphic user interface ensures that the users are able to use the most common presentation media without any previous instruction or training.
This highly ambitious solution has only been possible because of the very close cooperation with architects, engineers and the users and decision-makers at Danske Bank. This is cooperation in which the result is undoubtedly Denmark’s most elegant, most advanced conference venue.
