DONG Energy (former Energi E2) is Denmark’s leading energy production and trading company – the result of the merger of SK Power Co. A/S, Københavns Energi Production A/S and EK Energi Power Co. A/S.
This partnership sits united in its brand new headquarter – beautifully positioned at the harbour, “Teglværkshavnen”. The building was designed by architects Hvidt & Mølgaard and built by MT Højgaard. Situated alongside the quay – its glass façade making it bright and pleasant both inside and out.
Hvidt & Mølgaard were also responsible for designing much of the furniture and fittings used in the lecture hall - a modern room with many possibilities. Informationsteknik provided the audio-visual solutions for the lecture hall and the other various meeting rooms situated throughout the building. |

These solutions are characterized by ease of use while simultaneously providing the possibility to make effective and advanced presentations – at the very edge of today’s technical opportunities. The keyword being user-friendliness, all rooms are equipped with intuitive touch panels allowing the user to easily control the latest, future proof technology.
Working in close co-operation with the architects, Informationsteknik has installed display solutions that are as discreet as they are advanced. These include 3 projectors built into the back wall of the lecture hall utilizing optical mirrors to minimize their profile. Especially for this project motorized moving white boards equipped with built in screens and loudspeakers were developed for the meeting rooms. |

The technique in the lecture hall is placed as discreet as possible - and everything is controlled by a touch panel.

In addition to the lecture hall and meeting rooms is the large “Patio” hall that bridges the two halves of the building. Used primarily by staff as a restaurant, café and relaxation area, it is also utilized as space where employees, customers and collaborators can meet. To satisfy this dual requirement the hall is equipped with a comprehensive audio-visual solution including large projection system and an advanced yet still very discreet loudspeaker system.
DONG Energy operates with an emphasis on the environment and as such paid particular attention to the environmental impact and energy efficiency when making their choice of technology in the audio-visual, lighting and ventilation installations.
